Progress on My First Gorjuss Girl Diamond Painting

Progress on my first diamond painting (or what to take to do on vacation!)

When the cat’s away at board meetings, the mouse will do her crafts! After a few hours today and yesterday, my #diamondpainting canvas is much improved! Newbie that I am, I still don’t know whether to work from the center out or the outside in…but I’ve figured out that I’m faster and more accurate with tweezers than the sticky pick-up tool! My #gorjussgirl is coming along nicely now. August deadline no longer a question. (Which is good, since I’ve bought three more designs – two of which will be gifts.) Any hints on how to frame them? . . . #constantlycreating #thelittlewhatnotshop #newhobbies #gorjussgirls #halloweentheme #justlikecrossstitch #crossstitchjunkie

I'm a cardmaker, scrapbooker, book editor, and vocal singer, but not always in that order. I juggle these things with filling card orders for my local gift shop and others and being a Stampin' Up consultant! I'm happy to help you place an order anytime if you want some craft supplies! 1. Thanks! I love how the colors slightly change and merge as I work down the page, like a gradient. There is a whole series of these Gorjuss girls in rubber stamps, and I saw them on other items like clothing too last year in Europe. They all have that classic feel in their poses. Quite adorable. Thanks for your comment!

    1. I’m sorry; I really don’t know. This was the first one I bought. I’m not sure which shop I got mine at now–but I’ve also been told since from the Gorjuss people that it had been made under copyright infringement and wasn’t permitted by them. So any of the shops you see with them are making the products illegally since Gorjuss does not. 😦
